Talvez aquela pizza do final de semana que a nutri libera (com moderação) é que torna viável o seguimento do plano alimentar e o alcance das metas. Quando se faz terrorismo alimentar na primeira fugida o 1º pensamento é: já estraguei tudo mesmo, então vou comer tudo que tem direito. ⚠️É preferível ouvir o paciente e incluir no seu plano alimentar 1 ou 2 refeições livres (onde vc pode comer algo que goste muito). My 12 week progress using @thebod_ guide 😄 I also made a much more in depth blog post on my thoughts and experience with the guide over there so feel free to head over there to have a more in look at my experience (the link to my blog is in the bio) I will admit that when I first looked at the guide I was daunted with the thought of 6 day a week workouts and having most of the workouts being only lifting. With me being someone who battled exercise addiction in the past and worked hard to get to a place where I was happy with doing 3x a week workouts I realised if I combined some of the days which train the same muscle groups or have the same exercises repeated that were on other days I could get it down to 3 days a week 😊 So my "split" ended up being Mon: Lower & cardio - superset movements, Wed: Upper & cardio - walking to work (1h), Fri: Core & cardio - HIIT with a 1 rep max testing day every second Sunday and the occasional Saturday yoga session thrown in here and there if I felt like it for flexibility. I found while it took me about a week to find my bearings after that I found I was looking forward to my workouts more everyday as I saw numbers go up and my body changing. Throughout the 12 weeks I actually gained 3kg 😅 BUT I also can look at it objectively. I haven't been doing anything drastically different with my diet and through my progress pictures and looking at myself I can see muscles growing and becoming more defined. I've loved all the recipes that I tried in the Nutrition portion of the guide - so far my favourite is the Lentil Sausage Rolls but I'm sure as I try more I'll find so many more favourites. Thank you so much to @sophie_guidolinfor making such an incredibly informative and empowering workout program! This, my friends, is why for the first time in human history, there are more overweight people walking the earth than underweight. Why might this be? Well for one, our planted landmass in the United States is largely taken up by wheat, corn and soy production. We eat much of these subsidized crops, but also a lot of it is refined into oils and sugar that is then fed to cows (which also get a hefty subsidy.) . 5% of the planted landmass in the United States is dedicated to growing vegetables, which is perhaps one reason why they're relatively so expensive! 90% of Americans do not consume enough of them, according to the CDC, and may explain why the same proportion is deficient in at least one vitamin or mineral. . When you consider the research showing how one large daily salad (something I'm an advocate for and talk about in my book Genius Foods) might actually prevent brain aging, it becomes evident that society seems to want youthful, high performance brains to be a privilege of the upper class. Dadurch geht die Schulterspannung verloren und die zu verrichtende Arbeit über den 90 Grad zwischen Arm und Oberkörper, erfolgt überwiegend aus dem oberen Trazepius. Jedoch steigt an diesem Punkt die Verletzungsgefahr und für den Trapezius gibt es weitaus effektivere Übungen. __ ✅ Versucht euch beim Seitheben darauf zu konzentrieren euren Ellbogen als Richtwert zu nehmen. Die 90 Grad stellen hierbei die Endposition dieser Übung dar. Why do fellow shoppers say to a momma shopping with a load of kids, “Are they all yours? Wow! You have your hands full!” I wonder if they think we mommas go and pick up extra kids right before the weekly shopping trip? … “Children, go grab the neighbors! It’s time to go to Sams!” 👦🏼🧒🏾👩👧🏻👶No!! “They are ALL mine and in fact, the other 7 aren’t with me!”👀 I love to stun my already flabbergasted fellow shoppers with that piece of information. 😂Honestly though I guess my life does look a little ridiculous when I think about it, but I wouldn’t trade with anyone! “Scrambled” chickpeas! 🐣 (no chicks harmed in the process) 😉 for those who don’t like scrambled tofu this is a decent alternative! 1Can garbanzo beans heated in a skillet with 1/8th cup of water, add Turmeric for color and mash most of the peas with a masher or fork. Season with whatever you like! I did Trader Joe’s seasoning salt ( it’s in an orange bottle it’s sooo good!), everything but the bagel, garlic, and black pepper. Add your fav sautéed veggies on the bottom and avocado of course cause avocado is vegans basic betttcchhhh staple food! 🥑 You could also add shredded potatoes to make this a dencer meal! This is a good breakfast idea or lunch! Another option is adding the scramble to a wrap with vegan sausage and potatoes and veggies for a breaky wrap!

Pediatrics Club just finished their Mini Med School event today, and we had a blast! That’s why I’m alllll smiles despite being sick. There were over 100+ second graders at the school cycling through various stations to experience what it was like to be in medical school. Microscopes, skeletons, physical activities, standardized patient rooms, and best of all.. a white coat ceremony! 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️ #socute  I loved every second of this morning. I was elected President of Pediatrics Club for next year, so I’m slowly taking over events as the year comes to an end. Being around little humans makes me so happy!. . Totally agree with this. Who cares about a number on the scale it’s all about how your feel. If you live a balanced healthy lifestyle that is sustainable and deprivation free, reaching your goals will be easier and long lasting. I couldn’t think of anything worse than stressing about counting calories or weighing food or over-exerting myself in the gym to lose some stupid number on a dumb scale lol. If i make healthier choice the majority of the time and moving my body every day I know I will eventually reach my goals. Don’t put pressure on yourself 🦋

AVENTURA DE VIERNES Hoy preparé muy feliz mi bowl con el resto del arrocito que hice para toda la semana, le puse: . •arroz integral...obvio jaja •papas al vapor •frijol rojo •champiñones • pimiento amarillo asado😍 •todo sobre una base de lechugas............. PEERO...... .... Justo después de tomar la foto el platito se RESBALÓ de mis manos y BAM se partió por la mitad😢, lo bueno es que pude rescatar casi toda la comida🙌🎉 lo malo, es que el platito ya no se puede rescatar😞 ... Al final termine comiendo una versión más revuelta de este bowl jajaja, algo parecido a eso de: "expectativa vs realidad" pero de igual manera estuvo buenísiimo!!. Espero que tengan un bonito viernes✨ y recuerden agarrar fuerte sus platitos con comida cuando pasen de una mesa a otra😉, les mando muuucho amor💖💖

Had a lovely poke bowl at @tombo_london this evening with my dad. Introduced him to the joys of wasabi! He was loving it, never had it before 😂. It was a great little place to eat, fresh healthy food, lots of taste and lots of gluten free options. Even went down well with my dad who is a Yorkshire man - hard to please 😂

Happy Friday friends! For my first 'real' post I wanted to share a few things I learned or wish I did when I started BBG! These are general suggestions for anyone starting a fitness/nutrition journey. I'd love your suggestions too as of course I'm still a beginner! 1. 📸 Progress pics -- TAKE A LOT and take CLEAR ones! Initially this can be uncomfortable. But pics are SO IMPORTANT so take some time to take clear ones! Take them in front of a white/blank wall in bright lighting. Ask your friend, SO, mom, whoever you want for help! I am so glad I did pics butttt they're kinda blurry and were taken in dim lighting in my messy room. Wish I had put a bit more thought into that 😅 2. 🗓 Allow flexibility in your schedule -- Look ahead and commit to a workout time. For med students, this means you may have to work out at different times day to day. Clinic at 9am? Great, do your 28min circuit between 6-7am (still allows time for showering & eating). Doing rounds till 630pm? Work out right after because your brain is probably too pooped to study anyway. This takes discipline but I never said it was easy 😉 3. 🎒keep your gym bag packed EVERY. NIGHT -- And put it by the door. This takes 5 mins (really) throw it the car so you don't have an excuse. I can't tell you how many days I used to skip bc I'd get home to change and 'accidentally' take a nap or go on a Netflix binge! 4. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Don't fall apart just bc you missed a workout or two -- I've seen this posted on IG and it made so much sense: if you were to forget to brush your teeth one night, are you just going to stop forever?? Lmao no. You just get back on it the very next day. Same goes for nutrition! Speaking of which 5. 🙆🏽 Take the REST/STRETCH days seriously -- in the first 4-5 wks i'd sometimes get overzealous with working out 7 days a week, adding in cardio sessions on top of circuits bc I wanted faster results. Guess what happened. I got exhausted by the end of the week and my workouts weren't nearly as good as they could've been. Make sure to take rest days! Ok ESSAY OVER thank u for reading hope this is a bit helpful!! Will be posting soon on meal prep, recipes etc! Suggestions always welcome!!!
